Grace Place Ministries is asking that we help keep a child warm this Christmas. Fill a medium bag with a winter cap, gloves, a stuffed animal, and other goodies listed (CLICK for more) to be dropped off at the church office before December 13. They also have a big need for new and used coats for adults and children. These need to be dropped off at Grace Place 1600 Jackson St, Monroe.

I want to thank the parishioners who donated candy and everyone who helped make the Halloween Carnival such a hit. So much fun was had by all.

The welcome meeting for St Paschal St Vincent de Paul Society was a success. It was well attended and I believe people got an idea of what this ministry is all about. The attendees decided to have regular meetings on the second Monday of the month at 6:00 pm in the St Francis Room. The next meeting will be on December 13. We will be electing officers and forming committees, so please attend to help make St. Paschal a great conference. (note: St. Vincent de Paul at parishes are called a Conference)
